BMW recalls 28,631 cars in Russia over possible radiator problems

MOSCOW, Feb 6 (PRIME) -- BMW Russland Trading, the official representative of car producer BMW, has recalled 28,631 cars sold in Russia from 2014 through 2016 over possible problems with the radiator of the exhaust gas recirculation system, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology said in a statement on Wednesday.

Faulty sealing of the radiator may lead to inflammation of residue soot and oil and to local scorching of the exhaust system. Cars will undergo maintenance free of charge, the service said.
